Amy McCain

Amy McCain is a full-time professional artist based in Texas, known for her vibrant, whimsical work that blends traditional with everyday absurdities. A graduate of AIH with a focus in Visual Communications, Amy has continued to expand her creative skillset largely through self-teaching across a wide range of styles and mediums. Acrylic being her primary medium, she is also well-versed in oil, watercolor, digital art and many other crafts. 

 

Born and raised in the small town of Montgomery, TX, Amy has been doodling and painting quirky, colorful pieces since the early 1990s. Her original, remains her true creative passion—playful, bold, and unmistakably her own.
