Sharing my journey with others in the form of creative art is my way of expressing myself spiritually. I pray and practice contemplative meditation as I paint. Balance and form come together as I empty my imaginary vessel of joy and peace. My hope is that the owner of these works will feel the joy and peace that I put into it and feel blessed as I was while painting it.
I have been featured in art galleries in Houston and Galveston at Mirabeau Gallery, Carl Jung Center and Dallas, Texas as well as Greeley, Colorado. My work is exhibited at The Houston Medical Center and corporate offices as well as the private homes of art collectors. I studied at The Corcoran Gallery while I attended the George Wash- ington University and further studied under prominent painters.
Most of my works are large acrylic on canvas. I have also painted wooded crosses and incorporated elements that I brought back from The Holy Land where I traveled. I grew up in Annapolis, Maryland near the Chesapeake, and now live near the water again on Lake Conroe. My love of art started early. My mother was an artist and she encouraged my creativity.
