Doug Poole is an artist with a long time passion for creating pen and ink drawings. A native from Houston Texas who has resided in the Conroe Texas area for the past fifty-five years, Doug has traveled all over the state on many back roads giving him the inspiration for his drawings. Being a native Texan and having a love for the state and the culture it represents, the reoccurring theme of Doug’s drawings depict that in his rustic scenes of days gone by, and of a few of the animals which occupy and are a symbols of what Texas is known for.
